Banking through the Viber app gives you another dimension to operate non-transactional digital banking services.
How do I install Viber Banking?
You do not need to install Viber Banking separately, as it will be available in your Viber app. However, you may need to install the Viber app if not already installed on your device. You need to simply start up your regular Viber app and subscribe to our bank’s Public Account within the app to use the services.
How to get started?
You will need to search for the bank’s Public Account, i.e. “nicasiabank” in your Viber app and subscribe to start using the services. Follow these steps to subscribe to our Viber banking./p>
Step 2: Tap “Register” and confirm your mobile number.
Step 3: Confirm the OTP received, and now you are all set to enjoy the Viber Banking experience.
How to use it?
To start several Viber banking services, in the bank’s public account simply start a chat with a “Hi” or “Hello” message. One of our representatives will receive the chat and an interactive menu will be available to you. Tap the menu of your choice and get ahead with Viber banking.
Next, send a ‘Hi’ or ‘Hello’ message to the bank through the chat interface to bring up the scrollable menu items.
Tap the Register button to send the registration request to the bank.
Enter your registered mobile number and send it when prompted.
You will receive a 6-digit registration token as SMS to your mobile number.
Send your 6-digit token when prompted.
The bank will send you a message confirming that you were successfully registered.
Now you will be able to use the account related services through Viber Banking.
Why cannot I register for Viber Banking?
You will have to subscribe to our Mobile Banking Service before you can register for Viber Banking. Please make sure you are registered with the same mobile number that you intend to use with Viber.
What are the services available to me?
Presently, the general services are available to all users that are subscribed to the bank’s Public Account regardless of having held an account with the bank. The general services will include the following buttons:
Displays the registered customer’s account related information including their account numbers and types.
Allows user know the current balance in their registered account.
Provides a mini statement of last few transactions taken place in the customer’s bank account.
