Viber Banking is a digital technology that allows you to enjoy various services by interacting with the Bank directly through Viber, the popular internet based cross-platform instant messaging and voice over IP (VoIP) application, available for free from Google Play Store and App Store.
How do I install Viber Banking?
You do not need to install Viber Banking separately, as it will be available in your Viber app. However, you may need to install the Viber app if not already installed on your device. You need to simply start up your regular Viber app and subscribe to our bank’s Public Account within the app to use the services.
How do I get started using Viber Banking?
You will need to search for and subscribe to the bank’s Public Account in your Viber app to start using the services. Follow these steps to subscribe to Viber Banking.
Start up the Viber app in your device and go to Public Accounts by tapping the icon.
Tap the icon to search for the Bank’s Public Account by entering ‘Bank Name’ in the given space.
The public account for the bank will be displayed. Tap the icon to subscribe to this bank’s public account.
Once subscribed, the corresponding icon will change to icon and you will receive a welcome notification in-app.
How do I use Viber Banking?
You will need to simply start a conversation with the bank’s Public Account to use the various services in Viber Banking? Start a one-on-one conversation with the Bank by sending a ‘Hi’ or ‘Hello’ message to the bank. You will promptly receive a response and the interactive menus will become available to you. Tap the corresponding menu buttons at the bottom to use Viber Banking.
How do I register for Viber Banking?
Follow these steps to register for Viber Banking.
Select the bank’s Public Account and start a conversation by tapping the icon.
Next, send a ‘Hi’ or ‘Hello’ message to the bank through the chat interface to bring up the scrollable menu items.
Tap the Register button to send the registration request to the bank.
Enter your registered mobile number and send it when prompted.
You will receive a 6-digit registration token as SMS to your mobile number.
Send your 6-digit token when prompted.
The bank will send you a message confirming that you were successfully registered.
You will now be able to use the account related services through Viber Banking.
What are the services available to me?
Presently, the general services are available to all users that are subscribed with the bank’s Public Account regardless of having held an account with the bank. The general services will include the following buttons:
Displays various information about the bank and lists their contact details
Allows account holders to register for Account Related services through Viber banking.
Lists the location addresses for all available banking branches
Lists the location addresses for all available Automatic Teller Machines
Displays designated Normal Business/Transaction Hours and Extended Banking Hours at the bank’s branches
Receive information on recent notices and updates published by the bank
Allows users to check the Foreign Currency Exchange rates for the bank
Products & Services
Showcases the bank’s various products and service related information
Provides information on various active offers and promotions from the bank
Allows users to go to and connect with various social media presence of the bank
Allows users submit their comments and feedbacks directly to the bank
Displays answers to most Frequently Asked Questions for users
However, additional account related service are available to you if you have a bank account with us and are already registered for our Mobile Banking Service. You will have to register with your mobile number in Viber in order to be able to use the account related services.
